Baby-sitting training offered
The baby-sitting training will include presentations by a nurse from Public Health, a police officer and experienced baby sitters.
The Hamilton County Extension Office will be offering a Baby-sitting, Home Alone and OK Training Course for fifth-grade students and older, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, starting Sept. 14. Other days for the program include Sept. 21 and Sept. 28 at the Extension Office, located at 311 Bank Street in Webster City. Registration forms will be available at the Webster City Middle School, St. Thomas Aquinas or the Hamilton County Extension Office. The deadline to register is Sept. 13. The cost of the program training will be $20. Sessions will include presentations by a Public Health nurse, police officer, mothers of young children, experienced baby sitters and Extension personnel.
